Portfolio perspective

See each opportunity in context.

Capital allocation is more than selecting investments. It is the ongoing work of balancing opportunity, resilience, liquidity, concentration, and time across the family portfolio.

Our perspective

One portfolio, not isolated decisions

We may consider opportunities across liquid markets, private markets, real assets, and other structures. Relevance depends on how an opportunity contributes to the portfolio as a whole—not simply whether it is attractive on a standalone basis.

We form our own view, use external research and specialist advice where useful, and assess both potential return and the consequences if expectations are not met.

Principles we keep in view

  • Fit with family objectives and time horizon
  • Downside, liquidity, and concentration
  • Quality and alignment of counterparties
  • Independent diligence and clear decision rights
